Greetings All,

That’s right, you’ve just seen the title, so you know the news and here’s the SLURL. Now let me give you the reasoning behind WHY we made the move.

As most of our clientele are well aware, LOURDES LAYSAN (the Shop) is pretty accepting of just about anything and we make and sell premium products for a large range of interests. Though most known for our superheroine and superhero wear and devices, we have been slowly branching into other areas and as of now we are accelerating that development.

The problem however is that in order to move forward, we could no longer stay in a region that was not rated ‘Adult’ without seriously compromising lines of development, or scrapping them altogether. We contacted Azure Islands and made a request, as Linden Lab told us specifically to do, to have them change the region to ‘Adult’. we made a very cogent argument, that the region was labeled as ‘Mature’ previously and anything pretty much went without issue. However Azure Islands statement on the matter was that they would not change the region rating on any of their regions to ‘Adult’ because they felt they would take a sales hit, and couldn’t justify the loss.

Everyone else we’ve talked to has said that they are being completely ridiculous as quite frankly they would make money hand over fist as most folks didn’t even want this ‘Adult’ region nonsense to go through in the first place and were being forced to move. You’d think they would see a market there and exploit it, but they have chosen not to, and that’s their right.

Its our right as consumers however to look to places that will provide the service(s) we require. And so we voted with our pocketbook, and moved to ‘Sexy Sadie’, and took our money with us. The plots will soon be reclaimed in Hyades if they are not sold, and something tells me they won’t because we’ve seen alot of open plots there recently, and other technical factors of that particular sim that we’ve experienced in the past.

So now we’ve moved, and we didn’t want to do that to everyone, but perhaps it is for the best. Change is a good thing in moderation and now we’re setup in a more trafficked area and we’re renovating our building and reorganizing our stock for better flowthrough (this is very much still in progress). But the important thing is, we remain open for business, and on our terms.

Coming up, we are finishing preparations for our first Fashion Show, courtesy of Laurel Luminous at “The Avenue” :)  The show is entitled “Something Wicked” and promises to be a great October event and I think you’re all going to love our upcoming lines :) So come October, pickup a copy of the Avenue for a taste of our latest designs and then come on down and make their acquaintance with your wardrobes :)
